Couples

“Very well done. A program like this would have been helpful when we first got married!

We strongly encourage people with hearing loss to attend with their spouse and/or significant other as hearing loss has a tremendous impact on the relationship! A lack of awareness and understanding, as well as frequent communication breakdowns lead to ineffective coping.

Families

“The whole experience was very informative on so many levels – for myself and my understanding of the needs of my husband – who has hearing loss. It would be advantageous for all family members to be exposed to the benefits of this workshop.”

Anyone in the family, 15 years of age and older, is welcome and encouraged to attend. As audiologist Mark Ross has said, “When one person in the family has a hearing loss, everyone has a hearing loss”.
