The Hidden Impact of Hearing Loss

Hearing loss has a tremendous impact on our lives.  It goes much deeper than simply the inability to hear.  It affects our innermost being, how we perceive ourselves and who we are literally as individuals.

 

Because communication is critical to relationships, it significantly impacts our relationships with family, friends, and co-workers.  Hearing instruments are not enough to combat the significant and hidden impact.  More is needed to help people with hearing loss and their families live successfully.

Living with hearing loss daily is challenging.  Unfortunately, most of us use ineffective ways when striving to manage the challenge.  We do not mean to - they creep up on us slowly but surely when compensating for the loss.  That is why it is imperative we seek out the education and support available to us.

There are effective ways of managing hearing loss that reduce and/or minimize the significant and hidden impact.  We are confident after attending the seminar you will leave feeling empowered to deal effectively with this challenging life circumstance.
